Olanta Linda K. Lawhon age 64, died January 12, 2013.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday January 14, at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, the family will receive friends at “the shop” located just behind their home at 106 Castle Drive in Olanta from 4 - 6 PM today.
Born in Lee County, she was a daughter of Mrs. Blondie Theresa Amerson and the late Junius Woodrow Kinlaw. She attended Nazareth United Methodist Church, and was a Administrative Assistant with The Citizens Bank for 34 years.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dean Lawhon.
Surviving besides her mother of Lynchburg, are her husband; Woodrow Lawhon of Olanta, a daughter; Cindy (Michael) Welch of Olanta, a sister; Martha Effler of Sumter, four brothers; Alan Kinlaw, Kenneth Kinlaw, Wayne Kinlaw and Bill Atkinson all of Lynchburg. Three grandchildren; Kyla Lawhon, Caitlyn Welch, and Harley Welch all of Olanta.
