Turbeville, SC - Bobby Arnett Driggers, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on June 23rd, 1952, in Clarendon County, SC, Bobby spent his life devoted to his family, community, and work.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Brenda Cannon Driggers. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and companionship. He leaves behind a cherished legacy through his son, Joseph R. (Laura) Driggers, Sr. of Turbeville, and his grandchildren Ethan T. (Madison) Simmons, Alyssah Driggers, Bradyn Driggers, Sawyer Driggers, Chelsea Driggers, and Joseph R. Driggers, Jr. He was further blessed with step-grandchildren Logan Floyd, Landon Floyd, and Kaelin (Gaven) Azurdia, and his great-grandchildren Waylon Simmons and Wylder Simmons who brought him immense joy.
Bobby is also survived by his brother, Sammie Driggers of Turbeville; brothers-in-law, Archie Welch and Walter Knotts; nephews, Randall (Deborah) Driggers and Ronnie Driggers; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom were touched by his kindness and generosity.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Betty Coker Driggers; his son, Matthew Driggers; brothers Lindburg Driggers, Ellie Driggers, Deleon Driggers, and Harry Lane Driggers; and sisters Gaynell Matthews, Mildred Dubose, Ilaa Mae Welch, Thelma Knotts, Anna M. Osborne, and Rebecca Simmeral.
Bobby proudly worked as a truck driver for Helena Agri-Enterprises in Turbeville, a profession he dedicated many years to, handling his duties with commitment and integrity. His involvement with the Fidelity Lodge #394 of the Masons exemplified his commitment to fraternal bonds and community service, where he was regarded as a trusted and loyal member.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to Floyd Funeral Home in Olanta, SC, for their compassionate care and arrangements. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the funeral service, which will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Turbeville, South Carolina. The family will receive friends, following the service and at other times at his home 10598 Puddin Swamp Road, Turbeville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund (1097 Horse Branch Road, Turbeville, SC 29162), a cause close to Bobby's heart.
Bobby Arnett Driggers's life was a tapestry woven with love, hard work, and dedication to those he cherished. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
