Funeral & Cremation Services in Olanta, SC

At Floyd Funeral Home, we're honored to introduce a new program dedicated to preserving the dignity of our nation’s flag while honoring those who served.


Community members are welcome to bring worn, tattered, or soiled American flags to our funeral home for proper retirement. A designated flag drop-off box is located just inside our back entrance for your convenience.


With a family’s permission, a retired flag may be placed with a veteran at the time of burial or prior to cremation. From that flag, a single star is carefully removed, framed with a certificate, and presented to the family as a lasting symbol of gratitude and service.


This program allows each flag to continue its purpose, honoring a veteran one final time.
