Patrick Goodwin

General Manager & Funeral Director

In January, 2021, Patrick "Pat" Goodwin rejoined the Floyd Funeral Home staff as General Manager.

As an ordained Elder in the Southern Methodist Church and licensed funeral director, Pat brings an immeasurable amount of expertise, wisdom and compassion to our team. He oversees the day-to-day operations as well as meeting with families arranging funerals. One of his goals is to increase the funeral home's ability to support and serve our growing community.

In addition to Pat's work at the funeral home, he provides our community with a support and counseling program through the Biblically based GriefShare Ministry. The GriefShare Ministry allows him to walk with individuals and families after the funeral services have ended and assist them through their journey of grieving and loss. Our priority has and always will be to provide expert level care, with a focus on small town service that sets us apart.

Pat is married to Barbara Bennett and they have two married children and five grandchildren. Pat is actively involved in the Turbeville community and looks forward to renewing acquaintances in the greater Olanta community.
