Brenda Kaye Snedeker, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at the age of 85. Born in Woodruff, SC, on February 12, 1941. Brenda devoted her life to her family and her community with grace and kindness. She loved animals especially her special cat named Chloe.
Brenda’s life was a testament to love and dedication. She leaves behind a family rich with love, including her son, Andrew J. Buswell and his wife Elke, of Turbeville, SC; her daughters, Teresa G. Hartley and her husband Joel, also of Turbeville, SC, and Debbie Martin and her husband Daniel of Chicago, IL. She was a cherished grandmother to Claudia Buswell of Neustadt, Germany, Danielle Martin of Chicago, IL, and Robert Buswell of Turbeville, SC. Brenda also embraced Sonya Gibbons of Turbeville as her bonus daughter. Her sister, Lucy Tidd, and her brother, Harold Perry of Inman, SC, survive her as well.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, James McKee and Mildred Rogers Perry, and four sisters, Christine Holmes, Audrey Lee, Nancy Roberts, and Barbara Marcham. Her memory will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Brenda's life at a memorial service on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 2:00 at the Floyd Funeral Home Chapel.
