Dannie Durette "Lucky" Coker Lake City Mr. "Lucky" Coker, age 78, died Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at his residence after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday (tonight) January 12, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church. Born in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late Dannie Robert Coker and Isla Ethel Driggers Coker. Mr. Coker was retired from KD Construction Company in Hartsville as a Superintendent. He was a member of Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he served as Sunday School Teacher, Deacon, Trustee and Choir Director for years. Mr. Coker is preceded in death by three sisters; Burnette Coker, Virginia Moore and Janie Lee Coker. Three brothers; Cleo Coker, A. R. "Jab" Coker and Howard "Pompy" Coker. A grandson, Scotty Durette Coker. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Daniels Coker of Lake City. Two daughters; Sheila Coker (Andy) Cole of Wake Forest, N.C., and Michelle Coker (Chuck) Easler of Greeleyville, S. C. Two sons; Ricky (Angela) Coker and Daniel Vincent (Judi) Coker of Lake City. A sister; Betty Coker Atkinson of New Zion. A brother; W. L. "Mutt" Coker of Alcolu. Nine grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, 3709 St. James Road, Lake City, S.C. 20560 or Amedisys Hospice, 217 Dozier Boulevard, Suite 200, Florence, S.
