Dianne Timmons Windham

TURBEVILLE - Dianne Timmons Windham, a cherished resident of Turbeville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5th, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on January 14th, 1951, in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Jimmie Simon Timmons and the late Betty Jo Alexander Timmons. Dianne graced the lives of her family and friends with kindness and love throughout her life.

Dianne was the beloved wife of Rev. Charles Wayne Windham, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage for 56 years. She was a dedicated homemaker, finding joy and fulfillment in raising her family and nurturing her home.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne, and their children: a son, Christopher Wayne Windham, and his wife, Jennafer, of Turbeville; and a daughter, Amy Green, and her husband, Kevin, also of Turbeville. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Joshua Anderson, Carson Windham, and Tegan Green. Dianne is also survived by her three sisters: Kathy Grossman (Rob) of Colorado, Elaine Miles (Tommy) of Florence, and Barbara Teal of Friendfield. Additionally, she leaves behind her special neighbor and friend, Charlton Dennis.

Her family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the McLeod Hospice team for their compassionate care and support. Special thanks to Kristen Feagin, RN, Marci Meeker, and Chaplain Jake Sanderson for their attentive and loving services during Dianne's final days.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dianne's life during a funeral service on Thursday, July 10th, 2025, at 11 AM at Olive Grove Church, officiated by Rev. Allen Lynch. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM, also at Olive Grove Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Floyd Funeral Home, P.O. Box 67, Olanta, SC 29114, to help honor Dianne’s memory and continue the support of others in need.
