Jacqueline Ross Cusaac, a beloved member of the Timmonsville, SC community, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the age of 84. Jackie, as she was fondly known, was born on May 16, 1941, in Turbeville, South Carolina. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

A funeral service to honor Jackie’s life will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, where she was a devoted member. Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation one hour prior to the service (10 - 11AM) at the church to pay their respects and celebrate her life. The family will be receiving guest at the home of Charlie and Ann Matthews, 2415 American Avenue, Turbeville, S.C.

Jackie proudly worked as a Food Operator at Campbell Soup in Sumter, SC, for 22 years before dedicating her time to the Florence School District 1 at Dewey L. Carter. Her dedication and strong work ethic were admired by many, and she was a cherished colleague and friend.

Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cramer Ray Cusaac; her parents, William and Willodean Barrineau Ross; her daughter, Rhonda Jane Cusaac Collins; her grandson, J.R. Collins; her sisters, Lizzie Dell Ross Kinney Barrere and Mary Ross Wilkes; her brother, George Buck Ross; and her son-in-law, James Collins.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Caitland Elmore (Austin) of Lake City, SC, who carries forward Jackie’s loving spirit and warmth. Jackie was a proud great-grandmother to Lila and Jamie, whose smiles and laughter brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her sister, Ann Matthews (Charlie) of Turbeville, SC; her brothers, Donald Ross (Ann) and Larry Ross (Patricia) of Lake City, SC; and many nieces and nephews who treasured their time with her.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gunner Ross, Dewitt Ross, Corey Coker, David Wilkes, Jr., Walter Parrott, and Nick Mendiola. Chris Ross and Thomas Kinney will honor her as honorary pallbearers.

Jackie’s life was a testament to her love for her family, friends, and faith. Her legacy will continue to inspire those she left behind. Arrangements are provided by Floyd Funeral Home, Inc.

In place of flowers, Jackie’s family requests that her memory be honored through acts of kindness and love toward others. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered in the hearts of her loved ones.
