Rebecca "Becky" Ann McFaddin Green, 85, widow of Ryan Sidney Green, Sr., went to heaven to be with her Savior on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, surrounded by the family she loved so well, at McLeod Health Clarendon Hospital.
Known to most as Mammy, She was the very embodiment of love. She lived and breathed love, generously sharing her heart for people with every contact, every hug, every kindness shown. With a sparkle in her eyes, she would speak softly the words of encouragement we all needed, gently patting us with her hand and telling us how wonderful we are. We all knew we were her favorite, somehow. Her light and her love will live for eternity, both with Jesus now in Heaven, and here, in all of us. We are forever changed because we knew her.
Becky is survived by her two sons, Si (Lynne) Green and Chet (Angela) Green; two daughters, Eydie (Joey) Cannon and Amy Coker; seven grandchildren, Lindsey (Jordan) Graham, Grant (Chelsie) Cannon, Ryan (Paige) Green, Rebecca (Phillip) Coker, Kemper (Jodi) Cannon, Sidney Coker and Peyton Coker; twelve great grandchildren, Brynn, Cannon, Lawson, Ry, Watson, Laithon, Lucille, Zannie, Lillie Crafton, Cal, Elle and Four; two sisters, Kay Gibbons, and Judy (Michael) Brown; a special niece and physician, Gina (Joe) Wilson; and special honorary family members, Wendell Robinson and Mark Hodge.
She was welcomed home by her husband, Ryan Sidney Green; her parents, Newell Clacious McFaddin Jr. and Cecelia Christine Welsh McFaddin; a brother, Newell Clacious McFaddin III; a brother-in-law, Edward Guy Gibbons; and her step-grandmother, Eleda Burgess Worsham McFaddin (her Mamie).
A visitation will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, December 21, 2025, in the Pine Grove Methodist Church Gym/Fellowship Hall (1090 Morgan Street, Turbeville).
A funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Pine Grove Methodist Church, with Rev. Patrick Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Turbeville Southern Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and grandsons-in-law: Joel Grant Cannon, Jr., Ryan Sidney Green III, Robert Kemper Green Cannon, Peyton Matthew Coker, Dr. Phillip Lewis Coker, and Jordan Thomas Graham.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to "Becky's Boxes Ministry" (Operation Christmas Child Shoebox ministry), P.O. Box 144, Turbeville, SC 29162. This is a ministry that reflects Becky’s heart for sharing the love of Jesus with children around the world.
