Ruby B. Spriggs

Ruby B. Spriggs Greeleyville Mrs. Ruby "Lucy" Browder Spriggs age 93, passed away in a Kingstree hospital after a brief illness. A service will be held at 2pm Sunday (today) at the Chapel of Floyd Funeral Home in Olanta, with burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Greeleyville. Born in Greeleyville she was a daughter of the late Theodore Monroe Browder and Viola Gamble Browder. She was a homemaker, a member of Greeleyville Baptist Church and was the oldest member of Greeleyville Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ira Bert Spriggs and a son, Joseph Allen Spriggs. She is survived by a son, Edward Bert Spriggs of Olanta; two sisters, Marjorie Pipkin of Moncks Corner, Gladys Beach of Charleston; two grandchildren, Tessa Mims (Levi), K. C. Crooks (Lisa); five great- grandchildren Blake Fortner, Kenny Crooks, Gracen-Lil Crooks, Dannan Mims and Daniel Mims II. Memorials may be made to Greeleyville Baptist Church.
