He leaves behind his devoted wife, Judy McLaughlin; three children, Sheri Benenhaley (Tracy), Tonyelle Thomas (Travis), Heather Grayson (Sean); three grandchildren, Tracy Benenhaley, II, (Hannah) , Wyatt Benenhaley (Hailey), and Teagan Thomas; two sisters, Daisy Cooke (James) and Dannie Faye Osborne (Randy); two sisters-in-law, Brenda McLaughlin and Bonnie McLaughlin, and multiple nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to his care team at McLeod Cancer Center and to Amedisys Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Frierson’s Tabernacle. Burial will follow at New Town Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
