It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tracy Lynn Sims, who entered heavenly rest on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Born on November 10, 1969, in Florence County, SC, Tracy was a beloved resident of Olanta, SC, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and dedication.

Tracy spent her career as a Surgical Services Department Coordinator at McLeod Regional Hospital of the Pee Dee, where she was deeply cherished by her work family. Her commitment to her church was evident through her active involvement with the Vause Ladies Circle of Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, a community she held dear to her heart. She exemplified Christ's love and gave freely of her musical gifts bestowed to her by Him through singing and playing the piano.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Tracy's life will be held at 12 noon on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, located at 4071 Creek Road, Timmonsville. Reverend David Carlson will officiate the service, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Blake Evans, Ryan Knowlton, Justin Muller, Travis Sims, Sam Zion, and Walker Tisdale. Honorary Pallbearer will be Mac Knowlton.

Friends and family are welcome to visit and pay their respects at a visitation scheduled from 11am to noon the same day at the church. Additionally, friends are gathering at other times at the home of Lenora Evans, at 1550 Pleasant Grove Road, Lynchburg.

Tracy leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, cherished by her three sisters, Lenora S. Evans of Lynchburg, Dell Lourie (Mark) Muller of Gable, and Amy S. (Paul) Knowlton of New Zion; and her brother, Charles Wade (Sherri) Sims of Gable. She was the beloved aunt to seven nieces and seven nephews, and a great aunt to ten great nieces and nephews. Tracy's compassion and friendship will be endlessly missed by her best friend, Charity Humbles of New Mexico, as well as her church and work families.

She was predeceased by her parents, George V. Sims and Eva Dell Tarte Sims, and joined in heaven by her siblings, Timothy Sims and Cynthia Dell Sims, her brother-in-law, Russell Evans, and her nephew, Russ Evans.
